Jasmine Guillory, Program Director
A graduate of Stanford Law School, Jasmine M. Guillory is the Foundation's Program Director, responsible for the management and implementation of the Foundation's grants, scholarships, education, and outreach programs. Guillory has broad experience in the legal services arena, both as a legal aid attorney and as a private firm lawyer providing pro bono assistance. She most recently worked as a staff attorney at the Legal Aid Society of San Mateo, where she handled children's health, disability, and special education issues. Prior to joining San Mateo Legal Aid, Jasmine was a litigation associate at Morrison & Foerster, where she did pro bono work in conjunction with the East Bay Community Law Center, the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights, and the ACLU of Northern California. Guillory also served as a law clerk to Judge Susan Illston of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. While in law school, Guillory was a board member of the East Palo Alto Community Law Project, vice president of the Black Law Students Association, and a 2000 recipient of the Foundation's Public Interest Scholarship. After graduating from Wellesley College, she lived in Washington, D.C., and worked for the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights and Senator Barbara Boxer. Guillory is a member of the State Bar of California.
